eClarus Business Process Modeler V 2.1 Installation Instructions

Business Analyst Version

1. Uninstall previous version if any.
2. Download the eClarus Business Process Modeler for Business Analysts Installer (~36.5M).
3. Run the installer. The installer wizard will guide you through the process.
4. Request a trial license key here if you don't have one. The license key will be sent to you via e-mail.
5. The first time you launch the product, you will be asked to provide a license key. Copy and paste the trial license key sent to you. After the license key is entered, you can view the license key by selecting Windows->Preferences in Eclipse.

SOA Architect Version

1. Uninstall previous version if any.
2. There are three installation options:
   1. For existing Eclipse 3.3 or Eclipse 3.4 users, you can use Eclipse's Software Updates feature to install eClarus Business Process Modeler V 2.1 plugins. (click here for instructions)
   2. If you do not have Eclipse installed, you can install Eclipse 3.4 IDE with Java/BIRT developer from the Eclipse site first, then follow the above step to install eClarus Business Process Modeler V 2.1 plugins.
   3. Alternatively, you can download the eClarus Business Process Modeler for SOA Architects zip file (~390 M) and unzip the file to the directory where you wish Eclipse and eClarus to reside.
3. Follow instruction (4) and (5) above to request for a trial license.
